Welcome to Holdrege First United Methodist Church. We are a vibrant church family living by faith, known by love, and a voice of hope reaching out as the hands of Jesus, nurturing ourselves, our community and beyond to know the Spirit of Christ.
This website is the open door for you to find out about us as a body of Christ. Our goal is to bring ourselves and others into a closer walk with Jesus. Our prayer is that this can become a reality through our welcoming worship, our challenging study groups, our relational age-groups, our servant mission work, and our spiritual commitment to our individual and corporate prayer lives.
Take the hand of Jesus and walk with Him daily
Journey to Jerusalem
Gather your family and friends and try to escape the temple room before you miss out on the parade in Jerusalem. We have designed the room with all ages in mind. Group size should be 4-8 persons. If you have any questions, contact Candance at (308) 995-8691. Can you and your team solve all the puzzles to find your way out of the room before you miss the parade?

Prayer & Healing service
Thursdays at 3:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary
Come find a spot to be ‘alone’ with God. As you listen to the meditative music, turn your attention to what God is wanting you to hear. This is a time for you to soak in God’s love for you. After a time of meditation, the group will suggest prayers for each other and persons on their hearts and minds. Intercessory prayers for physical and emotional healing are offered. This time ends with a blessing extended to all participants.
